What makes it special
The Main Barn is a popular event setting on the grounds of Malabar Farm State Park. Smaller groups can ask about Pugh Cabin, which has a kitchen, heating and air conditioning, and a wood-burning fireplace. Contact the park office for Main Barn rentals; Pugh Cabin reservations are handled through ReserveOhio.
Best for
Rustic celebrations, intimate retreats, history-minded gatherings and groups willing to work with state-park reservation procedures.
Before booking: The Big House and barn are not interchangeable rental spaces. Check dates, setup time, vendor rules and permitted use with park staff.
What to ask the venue
- Is the proposed date available, and what is the space-specific rental price?
- What is the maximum guest count for our exact seated or standing layout?
- Which catering, alcohol, sound, security and insurance rules apply?
- What is included in setup, cleanup, parking and staff time?
- Can we tour the venue and receive a written proposal?
